I am
the Data Controller for personal data processed in accordance with
my representative role as a County Councillor. I process data such
as names; addresses; opinions and personal case histories of people
in my Division where they are provided to me to help in resolving
any County Council matter.
Your
data will be kept for as long as it is necessary to ensure
resolution to the matter, and will be deleted at the end of the
elected term in which it is resolved (maximum four
years).
Your
data may be shared with third parties in order to resolve the
matter, where they are the relevant contracted service providers of
the Council.
I
may be required to share data in order to prevent or detect crime,
to protect public funds or if any other legislation requires
it.
You
have the right to access your data and to have any factual errors
corrected. Rights to erase, restrict, object or move your data may
also apply in certain circumstances. Please contact me for further
information.
Any
complaints regarding your data should be addressed to me in the
first instance. If we cannot resolve your complaint then you can
contact the
Information Commissioner’s
Office.
