St Elizabeth School, Much Hadham

Description

Established in 1903, St Elizabeth's manages and runs a School and Children's Home for 5-19 year olds, a College for 18-25 year olds (supported by a Domiciliary Care Agency) and a Residential Care Home with Nursing.  it provides education, care and medical support for people of all ages who have epilepsy and other complex needs. St Elizabeth's is one of only two national centres offering a range of services to all age groups with learning difficulties.  It provides holistic care, support, health and education services in a safe environment for very vulnerable people, recognising them to be unique individuals who should be valued, supported and enabled to maximise their personal potential in all areas of life.

The Main Advisory Committee meets six times a year and advises the Provincial Superior and Trustees, on all aspects of the strategic direction and the monitoring of the work of the Centre.

In addition there is a Home Advisory Committee and Boards of School and College Governors to advise on the operation of the Adult Care Services, School and College respectively.
