The management contract held with Aldenham Renaissance states ‘the lessee shall
also recognise the contributions of the Aldenham Country Park Advisory Board as a key
conduit to community engagement’. Set in 100 acres of
beautiful Hertfordshire countryside the Park provides lakeside
walks, a children’s farm, SEN pavilion & playground,
acres of land for camping, educational facilities and seasonal
events and activities.
The Advisory Board used to meet either 3 or 4
times per year at Aldenham Country Park
with meetings typically lasting about an hour. The meeting has
previously been chaired by the local County Councillor although
this role passed more recently to an Elstree and Borehamwood Town
Councillor. It is likely that meetings will become 6 monthly.
